A full list of weight loss friendly foods would be quite long. So I will only list some of the best diet foods:
Fish
Fish is very important part of every healthy diet. Fish and other seafood are rich in proteins, nutrients (such as vitamin D and selenium) and Omega-3 fatty acids. I recommend white fish for your diet. They are low in fat (white fish tends to be high in fat, but at lower levels than oily fish). White fish are: cod, plaice, halibut, haddock, pollack, dab, coley, red mullet, flounder, gurnard, tilapia.
Rice
Many people choose to avoid rice thinking that it will make them fat. But what about Asians? They eat rice every day and stay so thin. It is all about how much you eat and what are you eating it with. For that reason I've always recommended rice as part of a healthy diet. White rice combined with a plate of salad (to make up for the lack of fiber) is the ultimate diet meal.
Brown rice is higher in nutrients (vitamin B) and fiber than the white rice. It is good for diabetics due to its high fiber content.
Boiled Potatoes
Potatoes are perfect food, both for weight loss and optimal health. They are source of vitamin C, B-complex vitamins, phosphorus, fiber, potassium, magnesium, folate and calcium. They are low in calories and fat, but helps you feel full.
Apples
Apples reduce cholesterol, and promote healthy lungs. They are also known for having negative calories. Not literally of course, but you spend more calories eating them than you gain. Apples are good for eating between meals (between lunch and dinner for example). An apple or two helps you feel full.
Eggs
Eggs are great for a breakfast because of their balance of essential amino acids. Eggs are a perfect protein source of the highest quality. Boil up some eggs on the weekend as they can always come in handy for a quick breakfast on the go.
Of course the list does not end here: lentils, beans, vegetables, leafy greens including kale, spinach, collards, also fruits, and many more are all weight loss friendly foods.
